In Focus
Future Challenges highlights the impact of global megatrends on societies across the world. With the help of a worldwide blogger network, we figure out the challenges that are confronting our global community, and we debate how these challenges could be tackled.
Our main focus is the interaction between these major trends – for example, demographic change and security – and the consequences that arise from these interactions. The approach is global and all-embracing, but sometimes we take a close look at a particular country, a social movement or an event. “In Focus” is where we do this, finding issues that combine many different trends, and looking at them under a microscope.
